Terms and conditions for STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd Back to School competition

Competition element:

Stand a chance to win a STAEDTLER hamper worth R2000 and an Instax Mini (with film) every week in December (2023) and January (2024).

Complete the sentence announced each week on a Monday in the comments. Follow Instax and STAEDTLERSA on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. Bonus entries if liked and shared.

Winners will be announced each Friday in December and January.

By participating in any competition or giveaway advertised by STAEDTLER South Africa (Pty) Ltd or Instax or on its social media channels (the “Competition”), you confirm that you accept and agree to these competition terms.

The Promoter of the Competition is STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd.

The Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with TikTok and/or Instagram. You completely release TikTok, and/or Instagram from any and all liability associated with this Competition.

All Competitions are open to South African residents only and are not open to employees of STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd or FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd, its agents, contractors, consultants, or their families (including spouses) or to other persons assisting with the Competition.

Entrants must follow the competition instructions to enter this competition.

The Competition entry closing and opening dates will be shared on the social channels for which this competition applies.

STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd are not responsible or liable for any late, lost or misdirected entries or for any problems or technical malfunction which may result in delay or failure to enter you into the draw.

All entries to this Competition become the property of STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd and will not be returned to the entrants.

The winner(s) will be drawn as specified. The prize winner(s) will receive the prize that is advertised on the social media channels Facebook, TikTok and Instagram. STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for any prize winner’s enjoyment of any prize or any other costs and expenses that may be incurred by the prize winner.

STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd will notify each of the prize winners via the Facebook, TikTok and Instagram channels. If the winner does not make contact via private message within five working days, we may redraw a new prize winner without liability to any person.

Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged or redeemed for cash. STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd take no responsibility for entries or prizes that are lost or destroyed.

If a prize is provided to FUJIFILM by a third party, the prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the third party prize supplier and the provision of the prize is the sole responsibility of the third party and not STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd. The terms and conditions which apply to the prize at the time it is issued to the winner will prevail over these terms and conditions, to the extent of any inconsistency. STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for any delay or failure by the third party to deliver the prize, any delay or failure relating to the prize itself or failure by the third party to meet any of its obligations in these terms and conditions or otherwise.

Any guarantee or warranty given is in addition to any relevant statutory guarantees and warranties and nothing in these Conditions of Entry restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Consumer Guarantees Act.

STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions. In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Competition, the decision of STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd is final and binding on each entrant and no correspondence will be entered into.

No entry fee is charged by STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd to enter the Competition. Where entry is allowed online, there is no additional cost to enter the Competition other than any cost paid by the entrant to access the website or social media platform of entry via their Internet service provider.

Accepting the prize constitutes a winner’s consent for his or her name, for publicity purposes without compensation. This includes on STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd website, direct and social media channels and PR.

The decisions of STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd on all matters relating to this Competition are final and no correspondence will be entered into. STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to verify the validity of an entry or a winner’s right to redeem the prize in accordance with these terms and conditions. STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to amend the prizes offered and these terms and conditions and in its absolute discretion cancel the competition at any time and without prior notice.

To the extent permitted by law, STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd excludes any liability it may have to you arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this Competition.

Failure by STAEDTLER (Pty) Ltd and FUJIFILM South Africa (Pty) Ltd to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
